Run - don't walk - to Untermyer Gardens to see them at their peak. The canal beds are looking sumptuous with their varied foliage, especially the elephant ears. Even the planters flanking the amphitheater sparkle with the leaves' subtly contrasting colors.
Another treat is the intertwining of three vines on the wall in the southwest corner of the Walled Garden. One of them is called Fenway Park, as it was discovered growing at Boston's venerable ballpark.
