Celebrate Mehregan!
The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy's annual Mehregan gala on Sunday, October 22, 2023, honored Her Imperial Majesty Farah Pahlavi and took place in the magnificent Persian garden at Untermyer Gardens, featuring sumptuous Persian food, music, poetry, and dancing. The Shahbanou was recognized for her extraordinary efforts to preserve Persian art and culture and share it with an international audience. The evening culminated in a fire ceremony as the Shabanou dedicated the Persian Pool, which has been restored with the generous support of the Iranian-American community.
