​The lovely outdoor amphitheater at Untermyer Gardens will host a performance at 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 19, by the Parul Shah Dance Company, New York’s premier classical and contemporary Indian dance company. The performance will be preceded by tours of the garden at 4:00 pm and followed by a wine reception with Indian canapés at 6:00 pm. Proceeds from the benefit, which is co-chaired by Heena Pai and Aroon Shivdasani, will support efforts to maintain and restore the garden, which is home to the finest Indo-Persian garden in the western hemisphere and a beloved gathering place for New York’s Indian and Indophile community.
