Chris St. Lawrence: Aerial Photography 2019

Aerial photos of Untermyer Gardens taken by Chris St. Lawrence. These photos were taken for two reasons: to help us map the gardens to create a resource for staff and visitors to learn more about the plants they see here as well as create beautiful images for the public to enjoy. The mapping is part of an ongoing effort to create a robust and functional plant records system here at the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy.

The images highlight the design of the gardens both in terms of horticulture and architecture and literally show new perspectives of the restoration taking place at Untermyer Gardens.

A reminder to visitors: the gardens do not allow drone photography. These photos were taken before the gardens were open to the public.
