Trio Concertante, July 23
Sunday, July 23 at 5:00 PM. The Untermyer Gardens Amphitheater is set to host a thrilling and diverse concert featuring Brooklyn-based Carlos Pavan and his Trio Concertante. This talented group will take you on a musical journey through a wide range of musical styles, spanning from Europe to South America, and from Beethoven to Ginastera. Carlos Pavan, a highly skilled guitarist and composer, will also be presenting his original works that blend Argentine tango/folk dances, jazz harmonies, and classical forms.
Joining Pavan's guitar will be a dynamic duo of flute and clarinet players. Together, the trio will showcase their impressive musicality and technical virtuosity in a program that includes solos, duets, and trio works.
RAIN OR SHINE: In case of inclement weather, the performance will move indoors to the Community Room of the Cola Center at Untermyer Park and Gardens.
