Our annual Mehregan gala will be held on Sunday, October 22, and honor Her Imperial Majesty Farah Pahlavi. The gala will take place in the magnificent Persian garden at Untermyer Gardens and feature sumptuous Persian food, music, poetry, and dancing, with cocktails at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m.
The Shahbanou will be recognized for her extraordinary efforts to preserve Persian art and culture and share it with an international audience. The evening will culminate in a fire ceremony as the Shabanou dedicates the Persian Pool, which has been restored with the generous support of the Iranian-American community. Join the Benefit CommitteeThe Benefit Committee will be listed on the invitation, and members are asked to purchase or put together a table of ten (or contribute if you cannot attend) at $10,000 (SOLD OUT at this level), $15,000 (premium seating, SOLD OUT at this level), or $20,000 (prime seating, SOLD OUT). Committee members and their guests may also enjoy a half-hour, docent-led garden tour at 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Individual tickets are priced at $1,000 (only a few individual tickets remaning).
