Garden Horticulture Tour, Seasonal Highlights: This 75-minute tour is led by one of our expert volunteer docents, and covers the Walled Garden, its Lower Terrace, the Vista, Temple of Love, and Rock and Stream gardens -- focusing on the areas of best seasonal interest.
The Garden Horticulture tour focuses on the lavish plantings of the garden, including the architecture, elements of garden design in general and of Untermyer Gardens in particular, and identification and discussion of numerous plants and plant combinations.
The tour will start promptly at 11:00AM. Your guide will have a check in list of people for your tour, there is no need to print a copy of your receipt. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, wear sunscreen, and bring water. Strollers are not advised for the tours.
