Bird Walk - June 4
Join Frances Greenberg, President of the Hudson River Audubon Society, for a 90 minute bird walk at 8:30 AM on June 4. Rain date June 5.
Enjoy a morning walk at Untermyer to see birds in the gardens, woodlands, and meadows. Learn techniques for spotting birds. You may even add a few to your lifetime bird list!
Frances Greenberg is the President of the Hudson River Audubon Society. She has been birding for more than 25 years, and has a life list of 940 birds. Fran also photographs birds, and the red-bellied woodpecker photograph used in the graphic is her work.
This tour is appropriate for beginner and experienced birdwatchers. Bring your own binoculars (8 x 42 are the best for birding but others can work well too), dress for the weather, and wear sturdy shoes.
