Drawing in the Gardens with Donna Ingram - August 22
Join Donna Giambrone Ingram in the Gardens on Sunday, August 22 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm for an all levels line-drawing class.
This class is great for beginner or experienced artists. The session is all about immersing in the environment and challenging yourself to learn to see with a new eye. Donna will lead the group toward composition and provide technique suggestions including some line drawing exercises. The gardens provide a sanctuary for this experience. There will be a review at the end of the class for those who want to share their work and talk about the experience. The goal is to own your work and be proud to sign it!
Please arrive on time and bring your own drawing supplies preferably 18 x 24 sketch paper so you can freely draw large. At a minimum you'll need drawing paper, a board to lean on, and soft pencils, black marker, charcoal sticks or ink -- whatever you are comfortable using. Donna's favorite Graphite sticks will be shared for use during the class.
